If you earn a nice salary is it worth having a financial advisor, accountant, career coach?

Im about to start earning well above the average salary. I have never been permenantly employed before or financially well off. I want to make smart decisions. I have a HECS debt and some credit card debt, child support payments to sort out and two kids to provide for. Would a financial advisor or accountant be recommended. I have dreams of property and small business for the future.

That would be a great idea….. This person can also help you with saving for the future and your retirement.

Personally I wouldn’t bother with accountants etc as the only thing you are doing is giving your money away to them when you can work it out for yourself or talk to a bank manager which is free. Remember in the UK you will pay around £50 per hour for an accountant. By the time you pay your debts and child support you wont have much left for an accountant, UK child support payments is 23% of your salary.References :
