St Kilda to be investigated for possible salary rort under Brian Waldon. Do you agree or not?

Could this be part of the reason why Brian Waldon ex Saints CEO and ex coach …the one before Ross Lion(can’t think of his name at this point in time) didn’t get along?
Edit…Yes, Chorus it was Grant Thomas. I just couldn’t remember his name for the life of me.

It would definetely be a good investigation . The Saints picked up Goddard when The Blues were stripped of draft picks, for similar rorts as the Storm. Isn’t funny how Carlton and Storm share the same training venue at Visy Park, and of course named after the company the blues ex pres was fined 40 mil, for his alledged part in business rorts. If the Saints were eventually found to have messed up, they could only be stripped of wooden spoons. They should maybe be forced to return Goddard back to the Blues, however stripping them of all their wooden spoons would be no punishment and counter productive, all Saints fans would be thrilled !

the thing that you have to remember here kev is this.
the nrl had no idea what so ever that the melbourne storm had been operating over and above the salary cap.
it has only come to light because someone involved with the club has very obviously decided to grow a conscious. and blew the whistle on them.
    this being the case.
the melbourne storm could have continued on for years and no one would have known about the breech as they where running 2 books.
the governing body of our codes will audit clubs on a regular basis to make sure that they are running their individual clubs without breaching the cap. but unless they know where to look they would never wise up to what is going on.
in other words. they can look at st kilda and that’s about all they can do. and if there has been any sort of funny business going on. how are they ever going to know unless someone comes forward and tells them that there has been a breech.
cheers mate.References : so much for what the nuff nuff at the top said.
to me it sounds like it maybe a case the premier state of sore loosers and bad sports.

I think they should investigate all teams and get things cleared up once and for all. Then end those third party contracts which amounts to tapering with salary caps.References :

  9. Romper Stomper says:

Brian Waldron is behind it all at the Storm, so yes i would put the microscope over the Saints, for the time he was there, he probably done the same thing there and the players would know if he did, they would of been told about the ‘extra money’ they were getting.References :

He managed to hide it for 5 years and I would imagine you would need practice at being so devious.

Imagine this moron polluting AFL too what a messReferences :
