…am I the only one who thinks the multi-million $$ paid to coaches etc is obscene & insulting to workers!!?

Coaches…even average ones…CEOs..even ones who return little to shareholders…..golden parachutes in the multi-millions. It insults those of us who work hard for a lifetime and never make a million in all of it. Without the workers/employees there would be no ivory towers or golden stadiums. How many people in this land get a contract that says even if you mess up we will buy-out your contract and give you millions? Something is skewed!

I guarantee I can coach a losing season..I’ll do it for $250,000 and save an owner some big bucks! HA!

SOUR GRAPES: I agree that if you have a bum he/she is not worth squat. All income is based on potential. Anyone with an approved background has potential that deserves a contract worthy of that potential.

You can make a monkey the CEO and pay him all the bananas he like. If someone with potential does not step in and make the right decisions at the right time then the company will fail.

The best leaders are those that motivate and energize their group to perform at a pace that advances the cause of the entity. We don’t need people that "know it all", we need people that can spot useful good in those around them.
